ERC (Engagement Rate Calculator) is a free, browser-based tool. We are committed to respecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (very little) and how we use it.

Data we collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All calculations happen entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter into our calculator never leave your device — there is no server-side processing of user inputs.

No accounts or sign-ups

ERC does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide an email address. There is no registration wall of any kind.

Local storage

We use your browser's local storage solely to remember your theme preference (light or dark mode). This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to any server.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (e.g., page views, country-level location, referral sources). Google Analytics may set cookies on your device to distinguish unique users. You can opt out by using a browser extension or ad blocker. We do not use this data to identify individuals or track you across other websites.

Cookies

ERC uses minimal cookies. Google Analytics may set cookies to measure site traffic. We do not set any advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or first-party cookies beyond your theme preference stored in localStorage.

Third-party services

We load fonts from Google Fonts, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No other third-party services have access to your data through our site.

Children's privacy

ERC is not directed at children under 13. Since we do not collect any personal data, no information about children is gathered.
